I know… It has been longer than a week. But after having typed up the last post, within a day, I had accepted a new venture…Needless to say, things just got busier. Anyhow, I thought I’d put together a few collages on what I’ve been up to since I’ve last posted. Without further adieu…

Starting with the most recent.

Another round of promos, for the upcoming band ” Sevenfinity “. They’re a rock group out of Grand Rapids, MI and if memory serves, they have a show coming up March 6th, at Mixtape. You can find more details on their Facebook, from upcoming shows, to samples of their music! Check’em out if you get a chance!

Next up is a piece inspired from the 1978 murder mystery of Nancy Spungen and Sid Vicious. More on point, from the movie that was inspired from the murder, “Sid and Nancy“.

Obviously, the theme remained, but we chose to render a more modern version.

Recently, I had an opportunity brought by Kevin Mulder, to shoot at the GVSU field house. We collected a group of models, as well as a fashion major, to come up with some under-water magic.

The GVSU swimming pool features a under-water observatory, to view the swimmers during practice. The room was nothing more than a stairway, leading down to 6′x6′ viewing window, with two layers of glass. With no means of artificial lighting, and multiple trips to the surface for our models, we managed to still pull some great images, and have a good time.

Last and not least, this set, is part of my new “Down & Out” series. Featuring make up artist, Joe Harvey, as “The Luchador”.

This series is about the life after the glory days are over. My take on “where are they now”… I hope to start the next set this summer!

On to other news…

I’ve put aside shooting weddings this summer, to take an opportunity to travel. I still plan to line up photo-shoots, and whatever commercial work I can get my hands on. At any rate, I’ll still be updating this blog, as well as starting a new one to cover my traveling which I will link you to when I put it together… My first stop is Chandler, Arizona and I’ll be headed there as of the 25th of March.

Also new on the site, is a page to link you to all the ways to follow me and my adventures. My new blog will be added there shortly…As soon as I come up with a title for it.

First and foremost, I apologize for the lack of updates over the last few months. Second and more importantly, thank you for taking the time to come back and check for updates! It’s been a trying past couple months between work, and life.

Anyhow, Im going to be making changes to this site, as well as implementing a new plan for updates. Im going to start and hopefully stick to, a weekly update. Hopefully I’ll have new shoots for you to check back on each week, but if not, I’ll at least try to leave some eye candy for you…

In the mean time, I’ll leave you a list of ways to follow me and my every day life… For those of you who are interested.
